Middlesbrough Shopmobility is a mobility equipment hire service, based on the first level car park of Hillstreet Shopping Centre.
The service loan a wide range of mobility equipment to any person requiring assistance for shopping, business or social trips into Middlesbrough Town Centre. The service also offers a range of equipment for long term use from 24 hours to 8 weeks.
Equipment is available to any person requiring mobility assistance, whether they have a permanent or temporary disability.
Middlesbrough Shopmobility also has 12 parking bays available for reservation whilst the equipment is in use.
New Rental Prices
From 1st April we will be introducing a new membership pricing.
New Member Pricing
£10 yearly membership fee.
£1 hourly rental rate.
Long-term wheelchair hire: £10 per week, with £50 deposit.
Long-term scooter hire: £35 per week, with £75 deposit.
Non-Member Pricing
£1.50 hourly rental rate.
Long-term wheelchair hire: £20 per week for the first 4 weeks, then £10 per week , with £50 deposit.
Long-term scooter hire: £50 for first 2 weeks, then £35 per week, with £75 deposit.
