Short Term Hire
Mobility Scooter
The service has a large fleet of Mobility Scooters providing both 3 and 4 wheel scooters, including a number of large scooters that can support up to 35 stone in weight. All scooters come with a basket and shopping bag.
Wheelchairs
The main fleet of wheelchairs are a standard 18" large wheel (self propelling). We do also have both 16" and 22" frame chairs and a number of small transit wheelchairs. All chairs will automatically be provided with a seat cushion and a shopping bag, for your convenience and comfort.
Power chairs
We have available both left and right hand control power chairs for those with limited upper body mobility.
Walkers
We have 3 and 4 wheel walker available for short and long term hire.
Crutches
We have a number of crutches available for short and long term hire.
Escorted Shopping
The service offers a facility to those with no family or friend support to assist in shopping trips around Middlesbrough Town Centre, We require at least 48 hours notice for this facility.
