Long Term
There are times when you may need a wheelchair for longer than a few hours, or want to go somewhere that has no Shopmobility service- we can help. Long term hire is equipment loaned from 24 hours to periods of 60 days, on a variety of mobility equipment.
From holidays to visiting family, waiting for a wheelchair to recover from a operation or broken limb. The equipment can be used for holidays outside Middlesbrough and non-electrical equipment can be taken on holidays outside the United Kingdom*.
The equipment is available to both members and non members of the Shopmobility service, 2 forms of identification will be required to loan the equipment-1 must be photo ID.
All Long term hires are subject to Cash Only Deposit, refundable on the return of the equipment.
The Shopmobility team are on hand to offer advice and assistance on suitability of equipment. Delivery of equipment can be arranged within Tees Valley region
